Diesel 2495cc. Long MOT with no advisories until 7th December 2019. One former keeper. Released from the Military in 2015 & sold by PA Blanchard. Heated Seats. Rear Bench Seats. Low mileage – just 100,774 miles (the speedo reads in KMs for the mileage – there is a MPH gauge within the KM speedo though!).

Here for sale we have this high-specification extremely late release 90, in superb condition for its age. We purchased this vehicle from a gent who is emigrating for work – and hence cannot take the vehicle with him. He intended the vehicle to be his ‘for life’ car and hence spent lots of time and money to get the vehicle to where he wanted it, before being told he would have to part ways!

On the outside, this 90 has all the hallmarks of a military beast – a bonnet mounted spare, the front lamp guards, military period front badging, rear bumperettes, door mounted mirrors, rear step, and steel military wheels with military style tyres. The canvas is a high-quality plastic variant, with easy rear access thanks to two zips – ideal for hopping in and out! All of this combines to create a really handsome machine – that looks the part as if it just came out of service yesterday.

The interior has a pair of exmoor trim high-back deluxe seats with heated seats fitted – handy for the coldest of days. There is a centre cubby box for storage which has cup holders… ideal for the drive through! Gun clips are still in place behind the cubby box, and there are a pair of rear benches to allow for six seated including the driver. Deluxe matting is fitted to the footwells as with all our vehicles. Sun visors are fitted for passenger comfort, and the dash has been insulated further to give better winter performance of the heater. The rear step helps for the access of passengers, and the tailgate is both drop down AND side opening, so ideal if you need to load heavier items onto a lower access.

Out on the road is where this truck really shines – the late release means this is a low mileage, well fettled machine – just 100,000 miles since release – and this shows in the driving experience. It drives as well as any rebuilt 90, and has only ever had three MOT’s due to such late release – all without advisories, of course. The Diesel Engine is a gem – these normally aspirated diesels can be smoky as they get older, but this one started first time in -10 when it came off the lorry, and runs clear after the initial puff of smoke to start.

This vehicle has evidence in the history since release to show how well cared for it has been – the cam belt was changed just two years ago, a brand new windscreen was fitted due to a slightly delaminated old one, it has been serviced every year including waxoil, right down to greasing the propshafts and the steering system. All the bills are included within the history for the new owner – some of which are preventive measures, which is testament to its care in the previous keepers hands.
