For sale, Land Rover® Series 1 in Deep Bronze Green (1949)

Only 2 former keepers – which is quite astonishing.
This very early 1949 “lights behind the grill” is presented in outstanding condition. All cappings, including the bumper are galvanised, not painted silver, and the paintwork is stunning. The canvas and seats are as new, and mirrors the presentation elsewhere – this really is one outstanding 80″.
As one would expect, the driving experience is pleasant, and she trundles along very nicely indeed.
The chassis and bulkhead and both in exceptional order, and she is mechanically “as good as the best of them”, in our opinion, having benefitted from a recent full exhaust, fuel tank, fuel pump, and service.
If you are looking for an exceptional and early example for investment, and use on high days and holidays then this 80″is highly recommended…..she’s lovely to drive, lovely to look at and we are sure she will be lovely to own!
