For Sale, Daimler Ferret Mark 2/3 in Drab Olive (1952)
First registered 1993 (cast off in 1992….very late) and only one former keeper since release to date. Circa 3,400 miles from new.
We are delighted to present for sale this magnificent scout car, as used post – war on The Rhine. This one saw service with The Royal Hussars in the 70’s and has a documented, and interesting military history, enclosed within the sales pack. It seems it may have also undertaken some Royal duties….. (R/Dty) on the history Cert enclosed.
As can be seen, this low mileage Ferret has retained many original features. It starts on the button and stops and starts as it should. It enjoys many desirable items including jump lead, pioneer tools, superb mock gun, radio kit, CES kit etc etc.
The exterior is very pleasing – good paintwork and detailing throughout. The interior is very original and still sports some CES including twin headsets and radios. They have not been tested but we see no reason why they should not work.
All in all this is an increasingly rare vehicle in great condition, that will only prove to be a sound future investment in our view. And with low miles, interesting history and few owners since release, it’s a rare surviving example.
