Here we have for sale a very smart 90, having been made available to us locally, due to the ill health of the previous owner. It has very low miles for age, and, as the photos show is an unusually tidy vehicle.
Externally, there are a wealth of nice extras, from the snorkel, to the roof rack with lighting. There are side steps, rear access ladder, rear spot, lamp guards and a towbar – so it has a good specification.
The interior is fully fitted, with seating for six – two front seats and cubby box, with four to the rear. There is also a professionally uprated dashboard which houses additional dials and switches, with stereo too….which is nicely sorted out and labelled. A dog guard separates the two sections.
These vehicles are the last of the mechanical engined vehicles with no nasty ECUs or sensors, which have marred the newer 90s – the engine was noted to be Land Rover’s finest hour, and they are attributed with being perhaps the most reliable and sturdy of all breeds of the Defender…..so finding a clean, low mileage example is difficult. These factors make this a hard to find vehicle in this condition, so if you’ve been looking for a good example from a good home then this is it!
