Despite the early year of manufacture, this 90 has survived in incredible condition. It has recently been renovated in Java Black, and has the acclaimed 200tdi engine fitted. This, coupled with power steering, translates to a very modern look AND feel. Out on the road, this handsome 90 performs as good as it looks too. The chassis, normally the Achilles heel of these vehicles, is also in good solid order, with very minimal previous works needed.

Externally, there are strengthened side sills (which give improved side impact protection), chequer plate wing tops, and rear mounted spare. There are a matching set of alloys, fitted with spacers and knobbly tyres for off road performance….but these still fell ok on tarmac.

Generally, 90’s are let down by the interior, but this one has been nicely lined in the rear with carpeting and soft furnishings, and the front enjoys a cubby box and seats in good order. Even the dash is nice and “stock”.

Being an early example of the 90, this vehicle qualifies for classic insurance – which may be of particular interest to younger drivers, who will be able to get a policy at an affordable price.

In summary then, this is a tidy 90, with long MOT, superb 200tdi conversion, with the very needed power steering, whilst still being a good, solid vehicle to last many more years.
