Have you ever dreamed of owning a vintage Land Rover, carried out to your own personal and exacting taste? Well this is a service we offer. Whether you own a Land Rover or not makes no difference – we can source a suitable vehicle to restore for you.

In the most recent build we have just completed, the vehicle belonged to the customer, and was collected from southern Europe by us. Once in our care we liaised with our client, suggesting possible specifications and advising accordingly. In this case our client had a clear image of what he was looking for, and wanted it to be the very best it could. The colour was decided upon and we had a task to get the exact match and finish requested.

The vehicle was stripped down to every last component, and then fully rebuilt onto a new galvanised chassis. The engine was completely rebuilt with uprated pistons, cam shaft and  ported head – and to this was bolted an uprated SU carb, individual branch manifold and large bore exhaust. The result is a vehicle that sounds fantastic and pulls with twice the power. An overdrive calms things down out on the road, and anthracite wheels complete the look.

Even the interior is bespoke – bespoke coverings throughout designed to be comfortable in summer when it’s hot. The dash has many extras too, including switches for high performance spot lights, USB charging, 12v sockets etc etc. A brand new heater is fitted with a bespoke feature to cut the hot water to it using a dash mounted lever – all requested by the customer. A vintage style stereo is also fitted, but inside it lurks DAB and bluetooth!

This build has taken, from conception to completion, around six months. It has had a “shake down” and will be finding its way back to warmer climates very soon.
