For sale, Land Rover® Defender 90 in Alpine White (2005).
We are delighted to present for sale this 2005 Land Rover® Defender 90, finished in Alpine White, which has covered just 79,597 miles from new with a Full Service History since new, and just five former keepers in 21 years.. an average time per new keeper of every 4.2 years! This is a great condition, low mileage and very original Defender 90.
Externally, as the photos show, it has all the the features one would expect to see on a TD5 Defender – the boost alloys with Yokohama Tyres, rear door mounted boost alloy spare, the van sides, the rear mud flaps, front bumper with rubber end caps, chequer plate wing tops and side sills, tow bar and electrics to allow towing – etc etc. There are some welcome additions such as a front LED light bar for improved visibility and a rear work light for the winter months, should it be needed. We are quite fond of “van sides” Defenders as they lend themselves well to a variety of uses – either keeping items out of sight, or sign writing the sides to use as a vehicle for business/advertising.
On the inside, one only needs to study the photos to get an idea of the standard…. the low mileage and keepers means it is far above what one would expect to see in a TD5 – the high back front seats and interior trims are in fantastic condition, with no tears or rips, and the rear is unfitted as the photos show, ready to be used for whatever one plans to do.
Out on the road, as one would expect, it drives without fault – with a current MOT with no advisories and a full service history, we’d expect nothing less. It is well known the TD5 was by far the best engine fitted for drivability – plenty of torque and power, with a five speed gearbox, power steering and disc brakes – as good as a Defender really ever became before they were redesigned in the late 2010s! It will come with 12 months MOT for the new keeper, so they do not need to worry about sorting this out in September 2026.
In summary then, if you are looking for a well cared for, low mileage, low owners, enthusiast owned, TD5 Defender 90 with a full service history – this is well worth consideration. We do not envisage it remaining in stock for long, especially at this price point!
