Land Rover ® 101 Forward Control GS *Tax and MOT Exempt* (NCF)

For sale, Land Rover ® 101 Forward Control General Service in Drab Olive (1975).

MOT until 6th July 2019.  MOT exempt. Tax Exempt.   12v . Circa 34,000 original miles. Extremely Late Military Release in 1999. Original 3.5l V8, RHD.

We are delighted to present for sale this fine 101, in the best possible configuration ; 12 volt, right hand drive, 3500cc V8 soft top.

As the photos show this is a very tidy example, and still retains lots of the kit one would hope to see on a vehicle such as this – bridging plate, pioneer tools, nato hitch etc etc. The bodywork is excellent, the tyres are all recently fitted and in great condition. The canvas is serviceable but getting towards the end of its life (should you require a new one we can supply one at a small extra cost – we would have changed it but there is a 6 week waiting list and we have lots of customers waiting for it to come to market!)

The interior is also nicely appointed with recent seats. The spare wheel is correctly housed. The rear is unfitted but is detailed and colour coordinated – rear bench seats could be fitted – indeed two sets each side could afford enough seating for the full shoot party if so required.

Out on the road this 101 does not disappoint – the silky smooth V8 gives a seamless, powerful drive and a very good turn of speed as these unmolested examples tend to provide. There is a super military history and sales pack included in the sale –  this vehicle spent much of its life in the Royal Marine Commandos. There’s a heritage certificate included too which is nice. Old MOTs suggest the (in kilometres)  very low mileage is correct.

If you are looking for a really nice 101 in the most popular spec then this is certainly worth considering – but be quick, as it is sure to sell quickly!
