Land Rover ® Series 3 *Recent Galvanised Chassis Rebuild* (VJF)

For sale, Land Rover ® Series 3 in Marine Blue (1977).

Petrol 2286cc. MOT Exempt. Tax Exempt. Recent Galvanised Chassis Rebuild. Parabolic Springs. Deluxe Interior. OEM Land Rover ® Rear Mudflaps. Heavy Duty Dixon Bate Towball with Electrics. Wing Mounted Mirrors. Matching Set of 750 tyres.

We are delighted to present for sale this truly superb Series 3 in popular petrol configuration. This vehicle has very recently undergone a complete rebuild which has resulted in a Series 3 in tip-top condition.

Externally, the vehicle is very straight and has a good paint finish and is obviously well detailed due to the recent build. It is nice to see that this Series 3 presents itself in an entirely standard format, just as it would have left the factory. In our opinion, there is nothing not to like about it, and it is clear that the rebuilder has been careful in what they have done. A matching set of 750 tyres on standard rims is fitted, which not only look the part but afford more relaxed driving due to the increased rolling radius.

The interior is also a pleasant place to be with twin front seats and centre cubby box with drinks holder - the floor is lined with Land Rover ® Deluxe carpet set and this is complemented with deluxe matting to the footwells. The rear houses twin bench seats with a rear load mat and spare, on the rear of the bulkhead. Should the next owner require side windows to be fitted, these can be done at a fitted cost of £495 to give a station wagon effect.

Out on the road, due to the extensive recent rebuild, the driving experience is far elevated over a similar unrestored vehicle. The engine is super quiet and feels extremely fit, wanting to constantly accelerate the vehicle forward! It is simply one of the best driving standard Series 3s we have been able to bring to market. The combination of the oversized tyres and the fitment of uprated parabolic springs further add to the confident driving experience.

In summary, if you are looking for a completely solid and rust free vehicle, but cannot afford the £30,000 plus price tag to commission a new build then this one is worth considering. We think at this price it represents a fantastic saving over new, whilst being 'almost new' itself. You will not find rusty footwells, chassis corrosion or corroded under arches so this vehicle would ideally suit the person who wishes for a vehicle of this age to be of a uncorroded nature.
