Land Rover ® 110 Truck Cab *Ex-Military* (JWP)

Sold

For sale, Land Rover ® 110 Truck Cab in Drab Olive (1992).

Will be supplied with 12 months MOT. Diesel 2495cc. Reconditioned Gearbox. Brand new full exhaust system. Released from Military in 2004. Circa 93,000 Miles - low for age. 2 former keepers since release.

Here for sale we have this late release ex-military Land Rover® 110 Truck Cab, ideal as a load-lugging workhorse. As can be seen by the photos, this ex-military truck, has survived in good order perhaps due to its late release from military service. This vehicle still enjoys some of the military period features including military lamps all round and military 750 tyres on 110 rims. There is also a towbar and electrics fitted should this be required. We would imagine that the new owner may have an interest in ex-military vehicles, and would perhaps make the vehicle work for its living, having a very large payload area - ideal for bikes, logs, dogs etc! A canvas and sticks could be retro-fitted if required but in truck cab form these vehicles are extremely useful with lots of room in the rear, yet comfortable and warm in the front with the truck cab configuration.

The interior cabin is a clean and smart place to be, enjoying 3 front seats and rubber mats. The military convoy lighting system still exists, which is  nice to see. The low mileage of around 93,000 is perhaps reflected in the quality of the cabin area. It is also nice to see that aluminium door-tops are fitted meaning no corrosion issues in the future from this area of the vehicle.

Out on the road, this old girl trundles along without drama and has been fitted with a newly reconditioned gearbox, and a full exhaust system. It starts with minimal glow and behaves just as it should.

In summary then, if you are looking for a vintage Land Rover ®, that should be easy and cheap to maintain, then this load-lugger is worth considering. It would be ideal for taking out bikes on a Sunday, without the hassle of bike carriers etc, or for somebody who regularly moves larger loads.
